Products > Incoloy 800HT Bars
PMI STEEL Incoloy alloy 800HT is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that has good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures. Incoloy 800HT has additional modifications to the titanium and aluminum content (0.85-1.20%) to ensure optimum thermal properties. Incoloy 800HT is suitable for high temperature structural applications. The nickel content makes the alloy extremely resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking and embrittlement caused by precipitation of the sigma phase. Incoloy 800HT is used where resistance to creep and rupture is required, i.e. at temperatures above 1100°F. Even after extended use in the 1200-1600°F range, Incoloy 800HT does not become brittle, a range in which many stainless steels become brittle. Incoloy 800HT exhibits the excellent cold forming characteristics typically associated with nickel-chromium alloys.

PMI STEEL Incoloy 800HT Bar
Nickel Alloy 800HT / N0 8811 / Wr.1.4959

Features:
The PMI Incoloy 800HT Bar is a high-performance nickel alloy bar made from the Incoloy 800HT alloy (also known as Alloy 800HT), specifically designed for demanding applications in high-temperature and corrosive environments. Key applications for this alloy include components for boilers, steam turbines, power machinery, and industrial furnaces, particularly where high-temperature strength and excellent oxidation resistance are essential.
Key Chemical Composition:
- Nickel (Ni) : 30-35%
- Chromium (Cr) : 19-23%
- Iron (Fe): Balance
- Aluminum (Al) : 0.15%-0.60%, to enhance oxidation resistance
- Titanium (Ti) : 0.15%-0.60%, to improve strength
Key Characteristics:
1. Outstanding High-Temperature Performance: Exceptional corrosion resistance in aqueous media up to 500°C, making it suitable for industrial applications.
2. Good Oxidation Resistance: Reduces equipment failure due to oxidation damage.
3. Corrosion Resistance: The 800HT alloy's high nickel content provides effective resistance to stress corrosion cracking in aqueous and saline environments. The high chromium content enhances its performance against pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy also exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in a mixture of water, steam, and carbon dioxide, though its resistance in strong acidic environments, such as sulfuric acid, is relatively limited. The 800HT alloy demonstrates strong resistance to various corrosive media, especially organic acids and mixed environments in water.
4. Machinability and Weldability: This alloy is easy to machine and weld, meeting diverse manufacturing needs.
Product Features
- Appearance and Surface Treatment: The product surface undergoes high-flexibility processing, resulting in a smooth finish with no visible defects, essential for welding and subsequent machining.
- Dimensions: Standard diameter range from 5mm to 400mm, with lengths customizable according to customer requirements, ensuring specific application needs are met.
- Color: Natural metallic silver, consistent with the physical characteristics and aesthetic standards of the alloy.
Advantages and Market Prospects
