PMI STEEL Incoloy Alloy 800 is an alloy of nickel, iron and chromium. The alloy remains stable and maintains its austenitic structure even after prolonged exposure to high temperatures, making Incoloy 800 a widely used material for equipment requiring corrosion resistance, heat resistance, strength and stability up to 1500°F (816°C). Other properties of the alloy include high strength and resistance to oxidizing, reducing and aqueous environments. Alloy 800 has general corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and, due to its high nickel content, resists stress corrosion cracking.

Key Features :

- Corrosion Resistance:

Corrosion Resistance in Aqueous Media: Incoloy 800 exhibits excellent performance in various aqueous environments, particularly at elevated temperatures, with resistance to oxidation and chloride attack.

- Stress Corrosion Cracking Resistance: Due to its nickel content, this alloy resists stress corrosion cracking, making it well-suited for chloride environments.

- High-Temperature Performance:

Oxidation Resistance: In high-temperature environments, Incoloy 800 effectively prevents oxidation, thereby extending the lifespan of the material.

- Resistance to Carburization and Sulfidation: This alloy also offers excellent resistance to carburization and sulfidation, suitable for chemical processing and refining applications.

Comparison of Incoloy 800H and Incoloy 800HT :

- Incoloy 800HT features a higher chromium content compared to the standard 800 alloy, enhancing its oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures while maintaining stability below 800°F (427°C).

- Incoloy 800HT is designed for higher temperature applications, suitable for environments exceeding 1500°F (816°C), providing superior creep and stress rupture properties.

Compared to other high-temperature alloys (such as Inconel 600 and Incoloy 825), Incoloy 800 offers a cost advantage, making it more suitable for high-temperature and corrosion-resistant applications, particularly in oil and chemical environments.

Packaging Information :

- The alloy bars are internally packaged using high-quality moisture-proof materials, then securely sealed in robust wooden crates to withstand impact and crushing during transportation.

- Each wooden crate is labeled with clear details, including the type of alloy, specifications, production batch number, and inspection certification mark.
